Ingredients:

  • Moong (Green Gram) / Makti (Moth Beans) /Lobiya (White Chawli) / Red Chawli / Masoor: – 1 Cup
  • Raw – Soaked Overnight (Can use 1 OR Mix 2 to 3 lentils)
  • Diced Carrot – 1/2 Cup
  • Diced Dudhi – 1/2 Cup
  • Chopped French Beans – 1/2 Cup
  • Diced Onion & Tomato – 1/2 Cup
  • Finely Chopped Ginger & Garlic – 1 Tsp
  • Cumin Seeds – 1/4 Tsp
  • Dhania Powder – 1/4 Tsp
  • Curry Leaves – 1/2 Tsp
  • Pepper Powder – 1 Pinch
  • Salt – As per Taste
  • Coriander – For Garnishing
  • Oil – 1 Tsp
  • Lemon – 1 Wedge (Optional)

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker
  2. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and ginger garlic paste to it.
  3. Add all the vegetables and sauté them well and add dhania powder, pepper powder, and salt as per
    taste.
  4. Add soaked lentils and pressure cook it for 4 to 6 whistles (depending on the lentil used).
  5. Let it cool for some time, then beat it slightly to get a thick soup consistency.
  6. Garnish it with coriander and lemon, and serve hot.
