Pradnya Padhye
Founder & Chief Nutritionist
Pradnya heads the product and is the Chief Nutritionist at Balcal Nutrefy. She is a consultant dietitian based in Thane, India and has been practicing for the last 22 years, helping people “Get Healthy the Right Way”. She has worked with prestigious hospitals like Lilavati Hospital & Bhatia Hospital in Mumbai and has a sound foundation in clinical nutrition.
She has done her internship with Tata Memorial Hospital for Cancer Research, an experience which opened her eyes to the harsh realities of life. Her motto ever since has been “Educate people about the importance of developing the right eating habits to stay healthy & nourished”.
Pradnya has completed her graduation with a degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Nirmala Niketan College of Home Science, Mumbai. To deepen her nutrition and wellness knowledge, she pursued her Masters in Food and Nutrition and studied further to become a R.D. (Registered Dietitian).
Shashank Padhye
Founder & CEO
A seasoned sales & marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience, Shashank is the architect behind Balcal Nutrefy driving strategy and execution. During his stints with large corporates like Airtel, Tata Teleservices & Reliance Communications, he has managed multiple portfolios in varied geographies across the country giving him a diverse experience in both urban and rural market segments.
Having faced long working hours, extensive commuting and stress at work, he could sense this taking a toll on his health. This prompted him to form Balcal Nutrefy with the objective of delivering genuine nutrition and wellness services thereby transforming the lives of individuals.
Shashank has completed his graduation in Science before pursuing his Masters in Management Studies from Mumbai University.

In her past stints, she has worked with prestigious names in the industry like Fortis Hospital & HealthifyMe. Her internship at SL Raheja Hospital & Lokmanya Tilak Hospital helped her gain exposure to different areas of clinical nutrition.
Mrudula has completed her graduation & M.Sc. in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics from Dr BMN College of Home Science, Mumbai
She is also a Certified Diabetes Educator.
